Slow Burn is dedicated to raising up believers who burn for all that He burns for, who walked as He walked, and who further desire to experience the powerful intimacy of God’s passion. We choose to refuse anything other than to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, mind and strength.

WHY ARE WE HERE

• To encounter the living God through a presence centered culture.

• To fulfill the dream of Christ, which is to love our God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and from that love, love our neighbors as our self.

• To release the word of redemption: “all things new” through testimony of Jesus and His loving power.

• To release the body of Christ (here and now) to do the works of ministry.

• To reveal the nature of God through the actions He preforms.

• To see the love that Jesus has for His people displayed through signs, wonders, and the miracles Jesus commissioned us to do.

• To expose and destroy the principalities of fear, doubt, and unbelief in the hearts of His children.  We refuse to allow His own to live in fear, torment, and terror.

• To be as close to Him as possible, and through that intimacy receive our assignments for destiny.

• To release His kingdom, here and now, on earth as it is in heaven!

WHO ARE WE
Slow Burn ministries believes that Christians, along with unbelievers, have become distracted and compromised through an enabling culture that often leaves us self-indulged, struggling to cope, fearful, doubtful, unfulfilled, disillusioned,  guilty and powerless.

Slow Burn believes there is a solution and that solution resides in a heart transformation that advances through a dedicated and restful pursuit of a 100% heart-soul-mind love for Jesus.  That heart transformation comes from living a growing intimate day to day encounter with Him.  We stress that God cannot be found in a building or location  or in rules, standards or sets of practiced disciplines, but rather is found through a nurtured intimate relationship with Him – - -living in His Presence.

Jesus warned the Pharisees, “You search for me in the scriptures, yet you are not willing to come to me.” We at Slow Burn refuse to be a people who do not come to Him.  Our God burns with a passion for romance and oneness that few have found and even fewer have lived.  God’s desire for us to love Him with our entire being needs to become our desire.  As we immerse ourselves in His Presence, those “things” He burns for becomes the “things” we burn for, thus we can truly be called “followers of Christ”, dedicated to walk as he walked, submitted to the Father, dependent upon the power of the Holy Spirit and ready and eager to experience the works of the Father flowing through our lives.

We believe the Kingdom of God is here and now.  Kingdom Living is available as we allow the very nature of God to become our nature and allow Him to flow through us in order to minister HIM to a struggling world.  Our hearts have been set aflame; we long for more of HIM.  We purpose not to lose heart. We come boldly, allowing HIM to be who He is through us. And we are committed to release His people to do the works of His ministry thus empowering lives.  We are learning to burn for all that God burns for.
