Our Missionaries
Daniel Ross
Daniel Ross, graduate of Destiny Bible College in South Carolina, has traveled extensively in the USA and Asia ministering to the leaders of many nations. He served on staff with Restoration Church in South Carolina for five years where he was also a Masters Commission graduate. A full-time Apple evangelist and lover of everything Asia, he is a passionate communicator that loves seeing the light come on when people finally realize they have a part to play in transforming the world. His adventure of faith has led him down many roads that have included youth and inner city outreach, starting a business, and living in Asia leading a missions training organization. As a former drug addict and drug dealer, Daniel is simply another example that God can take nothing and create something out of it. He has a desire to see every generation realize that no matter where they are in their journey, God has a destiny for their lives. The passion that drives him is seeing people encounter the transforming power of the Gospel. Connecting with God and people and connecting people to God, Daniel loves to connect with individuals from all cultures and walks of life. For more information check out: www.wheresdaniel.com
UPDATE ON THE ROSS’:
1:37 AM here in Bangkok.
First of all I want to thank all of you for your emails, messages,
and calls expressing your concern for us and our team here in Thailand.
We are safe at the moment and have spent a lot of time over the past
24 hours exploring options and the main question has been “Go or Stay?”
Initially we had decided to stay in the city and to serve.
But after many conversations with Thai friends and those doing relief work we were told that
unless we had a boat there was not much to be done once the water arrives.
The opportunities will be plentiful when the water leaves the city.
So after many conversations and much prayer we have made the
tough decision to evacuate and head south in a few hours.
Why are we leaving?
We do not have sufficient water and food stored if the
water remains up to one month as expected.
One of our team members has two small children and we have decided
for their sake that it is better to be safe than sorry.
How can you pray?
Pray the Holy Spirit will empower believers to comfort and serve
those who have lost everything.
Pray for those who are able to serve in the relief efforts.
How can you get involved?
We have costs associate with booking last minute flights and hotels due to the
evacuation and are not sure how long we will be out of the city.
Relief & Rebuilding Effort: We have several families within our church community that have
been directly affected and our church facility is located in a “high risk” area.

Will keep you posted on how things are going and will also be sending out a 2011 update soon.
Thanks,
Daniel & Shannon Ross

His office is run out of a local church in West Orange called TLCC where he helps that church build sustainable youth ministry. Jessi spends her day assisting Steve in ministry, while caring for their two boys Justus (5 1/2) and Nate (almost 3). They are honored to have been part of the original Slow Burn leadership team, and the Slow Burn families choice to cover them in prayer, and provide resources to help them as God leads.
