Heyo! Here’s a little something fun the Lord did on the last Treasure Hunt (June 11):

During worship/prayer, I received a few “clues” from the Holy Spirit–one was an image/logo that looked like a river, and another was the phrase “back pain”. Also during that time, Brittney shared words with the group encouraging us to pray for other churches in the city as we felt led and to “remember where we came from/where the Lord had worked before in our lives” as we went out.

The group I was with ended up going to Downtown Franklin, and on the drive I noticed a sign for a church, New River Fellowship, that had a logo similar to the one I had seen earlier in the evening. I made a mental note to maybe come back by the church later, and thought little else of it for a while.

Once we got to Main Street, our group stayed together for a little bit, but eventually I felt God prompting me to walk down toward the Five Points/Starbucks area. (For me, this part of town really resonated with Brittney’s word to ‘remember where I’d come from’– during high school, I spent a lot of time growing in my relationship with God in that particular area/coffee shop.)

As I made my way, I noticed a group of four teenagers (2 guys, 2 girls) hanging out and heard God say, “Why don’t you go talk with them?” I noticed that both guys had guitars, but looked like they  were taking a break from playing. I knew that I didn’t yet have a specific word for any of the four, but I did have a peace in my spirit to just go talk with them. It was like God just kept saying to me, “Be yourself, and give them Me,” and that’s what I held on to. Once I did finally get over to the group and listened to them play a song, the opportunity came to share the real reason for my being there– that the Loving Father wanted to encounter them, right there on the sidewalk of a busy intersection.

After about a minute of small talk, I found out that they were Christians and that they were totally open to receiving prayer. I asked if they had anything specific to pray for, and one of the guys, Mitchell, spoke up about chronic back pain that he’d been dealing with for years–adding that his mom had the issue for a long time and now he did as well. So we just stopped and asked the Lord to heal the back pain, and I got a few other words of encouragement for Mitchell. He didn’t notice any change in the pain at the time, but I felt like I was supposed to just hang around for a few more minutes.

Pretty quickly, Mitchell started playing a worship song and asked if I knew it. I did, and I joined him in singing for a few lines when he stopped playing and then asked what I wanted to sing next. To be honest, I was taken off guard by his question and totally tried to move the conversation on…but he and his friends were pretty insistent and encouraged me to lead the next song–and that both guys would play along. Long story short: I ended up singing and getting to help lead a spontaneous worship session right there with these new friends on the sidewalk, as a number of random people came by. I realized at a whole new level that an Extravagant, Loving God calls for extravagant, love-driven worship, wherever you are–and that was really sweet. I also found out that Mitchell went to New River, the church that God had highlighted to me on the drive over. I got to give him an encouraging word for that church before heading back to meet up with everyone else.

And just tonight (2.5 weeks later), I got a text from a close friend of mine who goes to church with Mitchell. She had just come from a really sweet time of Spirit-led worship, prophecy and testimony-sharing at New River. (God is definitely moving in their community in new ways, which is so exciting!) And, in her text she said that Mitchell had gotten up to share that since the Treasure Hunt night, he had experienced ZERO back pain!

So… praise God for healing, encouraging words, new moves of the Spirit within the local church and worship breaking out in the middle of the city! Who ever said life with Christ was boring? ; )

Last week I was at Starbucks just catching up on things when a friend and her friend walked in… shortly after two of her guy friends came in, one she knew well and the other was an acquaintance. Long story short, I got to pray for her friend… didn’t lay hands on him or anything. God healed his back pain right there and also poured His fire on him because moments later he was sweating and looked very shaken up. He said he was “on fire.” Immediately my face started burning too! He was deeply touched and kept wanting to talk even though his friend was waiting for him in the corner.

On my way out the Holy Spirit appointed a conversation with a man who had just moved here, and later told me someone came up to him and told him he’d have a divine appointment earlier last week. When we spoke I said, it was a divine appointment! He was amazed because he’d never even heard that term until that week. Needless to say, he was at church on friday and loved it!
God wants to show up everywhere we go and He will! :)

On March 11th 2011, God showed up in my life once again.  I had strayed a little bit in my relationship with Him, since I had moved back from Chattanooga.  I heard his voice so clearly that weekend at YEC.  He spoke life into me and I was filled once again.  I knew that I was supposed to serve God the rest of my life.

I had been hanging out with Jared and Sean and I was learning a ton.  God was speaking to me on a regular basis.  Sean and I had many talks about God and Jesus and how He was moving in our lives.  One time we were talking and Sean looked at me and said, “You are going to get the gift of prophecy, just as I did.” At this point in my life I knew that spiritual gifts were real but I didn’t really understand them. I had grown up with them my whole life, but never dove deeper into them.  When Sean said this over me I could immediately fell God’s presence in my car. With this being said over me I just started living life completely pursuing God with everything I had.

I started going to a church called SlowBurn, with Sean.  This church rocked my face off!  The first time I went, God moved in that place more than I had ever seen or felt.  That night Clint Thomas was talking about the Five Fold Ministry and who we are in God.  Clint then started talking about apostles and how he is one. I could hear in my spirit so clearly. God said, “That is you”. I was kind of flipping out. I didn’t know what that meant at all. But it was comforting.  At the end of the message Clint said that if anyone would like clarity in God about who He thinks they are, to go up for prayer.  God said, “I just told you who you are. Go ask Caleb to pray for you. I have something else for you.” At this point I was like, ok God.  So I went up and asked Caleb to pray for me.  I told him everything God was doing and he said I know exactly what to do.  He told me that I was anointed by God to do His work.  He anointed me with oil and started pray over me. He said that my ministry was to be similar to Paul’s.  He kept on praying and I could feel the Holy Spirit filling my whole body and everything in and around me.  I couldn’t bear to stand anymore.  My body couldn’t take all that God had for me and I got laid out in the spirit.  I had seen this happen my whole life, but never experienced it.  God was speaking to me the whole time, saying “This is my Spirit. This is what I have for you.” This went on for about 30min and then I heard God say, “Here is MY PEACE”. When He said that my arms fell down to the ground, and I was covered in God’s peace. It was one of the coolest things I have ever experienced.

I woke up after being immersed in God’s presence and walked over to Sean.  He looked at me and just started laughing. He told me that he could see the Holy Spirit on me. And it was really strong.  Then I felt that we should pray for our calling in Hope Fellowship.  Sean and I were praying and God told Sean that he and I are supposed to be the apostle and prophet of Hope Fellowship, but only for a season.  That we are supposed to lift the people up and push them into God’s presence.  Then we just started laughing with the Joy of the Lord. It was amazing.

Sean and I start having more and more conversations about God and the Holy Spirit. I am just getting more and more hungry.  Sean then prophesied over me again and told me the first time I would prophecy, would be over my mom and little sisters.  I was like ok! And I was super pumped.  That weekend was The Awakening in Nashville.  So we went and God was there and it was awesome.  At the end Sean and I started to pray over Dave Saunders.  I could feel the Spirit moving and while I was praying, I could see a vision in my head.  I just knew that this was of God and I was supposed to tell him.  I saw Dave walking through Nashville, but the ground was water. And as he walked on the water, his feet made huge ripples that just went out and multiplied as he walked.  His ripples never dissipated, they just kept on going.  That was the impact he was going to have on Nashville. His steps would emit the presence of God and it would just keep going and going.  When I was done praying, I just looked at Sean and he said, “Whoa that was awesome and good!”  I knew that that wasn’t the last time that would happen to me.  I could feel it in my spirit.

Know we get to Friday.  Time for SlowBurn!  I knew that God was going to do something awesome.  Sean and I go and there is just this serene time of worship.  God was moving powerfully.  .Clint spoke an awesome and anointed word. And something that stood out to me was when he said that peace in this world is very calm and is well peace. But in the spirit peace is violent and vicious.  Peace is our weapon against the enemy!  For some reason this just resonated in my spirit.  I would find out later why haha.  After I just felt like God wanted me to go ask Clint for to pray for me.  It took me a while but I did.  Clint was speaking life into me.  I completely surrendered everything I have to God and every single chain was broken off of me and I felt complete freedom in Jesus.  Clint then said he can see my right hand and on my middle finger was fire.  He said that the reason it was on my middle finger is because it is the tallest and gets the most attention.  He said once people start looking at the flame on my finger then I am able to use my index finger to point them in the right way.  Whoa!  So I just received so much that night.

Message sent from my great aunt.. This is another testimony from JoAnna and I’s trip to Boston.
“I just want you to know how much better GREAT UNCLE DAVID is
since you and Riley, and Johanna and Morgan and the rest prayed
for him. He is able to do so many more things. Parkinsons is
such a strange disease to deal with. It is on a scale of 0-108 and
his last # was 31 which means he is very blessed compared to
others with PD. He is now walking 2 miles each day….and think-
ing about returning to his BIKE which he loves.

Thank you for being obedient to Spirit’s voice to pray for him
and your Meemaw and Papa and Shirley. We will NEVER
forget it. I was so touched by it…and have shared it with the
other relatives. Our children, Susan, David Blair and Beth ALL
see a great improvement in their DAD….Can’t thank you enough.”

When we are obedient, generations are blessed.. When we are obedient, a destiny is changed, but THEN a family is changed, and then their friends, then friends of friends, and then a city… ;)

A few weeks ago, I went to Boston with a friend. While there, we prayed multiple times with my cousins and their friends, and my grandparents and their friends, who are all suffering from a variety of illnesses.

I just found out that my papa’s brother, who had been diagnosed with parkinson’s, called him sometime after we left and said he hasn’t felt better in years and has even been working doing odd jobs! Amazing!!!!
Also, my cousin’s friend who we prayed for who was told would never have kids got healed of a “female” problem!
God is so good!!!!

Hey ya’ll,
Just wanted to share this.  While we were praying before going out on the treasure hunt Saturday night, I had what I guess you would call a vision where I was talking to my roommate from my sr. year of college.  All I remember is that we were talking about surgery and I thought he pointed out something about a shoulder injury.  This didn’t seem too strange since he did dislocate his shoulder playing football. I felt the need to call him and ask if everyone in his family was healthy. We talk every few months or so, but we aren’t super close and I hadn’t been thinking about him at all last week.
I called him tonight and after some small talk, I asked him if everyone in his family was healthy.  He replied “It’s funny you ask that…” because four weeks ago his older sister Meredith started to develop bruising for no apparent reason on her body. They took her to the doctor and found that her blood platelet levels were dangerously low. She has received several blood transfusions in the past month as well as regular treatments. They ruled out Leukemia, but for some reason her bone marrow has not been producing enough platelets. I told him the reason I called and how the Lord had placed him on my heart. I then got to pray with him over the phone for his sister to be healed and for her blood levels to return to normal. He was all for it (he does come from a believing family) and was genuinely surprised at how we got to that point.
Please continue to pray, intercede and believe with me for Meredith’s healing.

Last week at the hospital i had a patient with excruciating hip pain. He had some type of undiagnosed disease that was causing it. He had undergone multiple back surgeries to try and correct the problem but none of them had worked and it had now moved to his hip. When i first received the patient he was on a PCA ( patient controlled apparatus) receiving morphine every 8 minutes and was still in extreme pain. After seeing a bible on his night stand I asked him if I could pray for him. When i began praying for him i started sensing spiritual attacks on his life so i took authority over the pain and over the attacks on him and commanded them to leave. At one o’clock that day he asked me if he could walk down the hall he wanted to see how his hip felt. I took him for a walk down the hospital halls and didn’t think much of it. At seven o’clock i went in to tell him bye and see how he was he was confused and not sure what to think because it had been six hours and he hadn’t used his PCA morphine once and was completely free of pain!! God had healed him on the spot and rocked his belief on how God healed people!
Next on the list!
For 3 weeks running my preceptor at the hospital has been trying to make me have a bad day by giving me the worst/sickest patients on the floor. She was doing this so she would know that i would be able to handle it when i am working on my own. at the end of the three weeks my preceptor and my manager sat me down and told me that day was gonna be my bad day. They gave me one patient with a brain stem injury who was unresponsive and two patients with strokes that had no use of one side of their bodies and were having incontinence. By eleven o’clock i was wondering why they didn’t seem that sick. My two stroke patients had begun to get up and walk themselves to the bathroom and my brain stem injury patient had woke up and got his personality back! It was all going over my head until my manager stopped me and asked what was going on she didn’t know how this kept happening, they kept giving me the sickest patients and they kept getting better. She asked me if I had some kind of healing power and all the sudden i was blown away I realized that every time i walked into a patients room God was healing them without even laying on hands in prayer! it was been a week more now so 4 weeks and i still have not had a truly sick patient! they have ALL gotten well enough to be discharged by 2 or 3 in the afternoon every day!
Finally yesterday in the hospital i was doing a rotation with the stroke coordinator. We received a call that a patient had a stroke while in the hospital become mentally impaired and lost the use of the right side of his body. We went up to assess the patient and take him to get a CT scan and we found him just as described when we got down to CT the image showed what looked to be like an old stroke so we took him back to his room in time for the doctor to assess him. By this time he had regained all his function and the doctor thought we were wrong in our assessment because he seemed to be just like he was when he came into the hospital. The truth was that God had again healed someone just by carrying his presence into the room!!

Hey brother, i wasn’t sure how to write this so i thought i would write it as a letter. When my family came into town for my graduation you gave my grandma a word that brought her so much joy that it brought her to tears. It was then confirmed by another person giving her the exact same word that night. I just wanna thank you for being obedient and and leave this as a reminder for you in the future that you definitely hear from God.

A few nights ago, I was cleaning the kitchen and decided I was going to force my little brother to talk to me. He’s never opened up to me about anything and I know he deals with a lot of demonic oppression.

I started asking him really general questions, and the next thing I knew he was talking about demonic stuff he’s dealt with. I got to tell him about Jesus and His love for him.

He was breathing so heavily I knew the Holy Spirit was doing something. I asked if I could pray for healing for his legs. He has minimal cerebral-posy.

After I prayed he said it felt like his leg went to sleep because there were tingles everywhere. He was able to touch his toes which he couldn’t do before!

This was major breakthrough. He said he wasn’t ready to accept Jesus, but I know God is doing something amazing in him!! Keep praying…

So today two people I met in CT while at a Jason Westerfield conference in Dec. stopped by my house (they were on their way to AR for a Patricia King conference). Before they came, the Holy Spirit told me that their visit here was significant and that he was going to heal my grandmother. When they came, they were sharing testimonies of their travel, and how they had already lead several people to the Lord (including a McDonald’s cashier working behind the counter!). I began to doubt what the Holy Spirit told me since my grandmother wasn’t even home. Before they left, my grandmother walked in. She has severe sciatic nerve pain that the doctor’s just told her she was going to have to have major surgery. My friend Brian asked if he could pray for her, and as he did, the presence of God FILLED my kitchen. After praying twice, My grandmother exclaimed that she had NO PAIN for the FIRST time in several months of severe pain in her legs and back. The woman, Tina, prophesied over her & released accurate words of knowledge about her and her family line. As she did the Holy Spirit told me that my grandmother was going to prophecy over me!!! So the next thing that comes out of Tina’s mouth is a prayer of impartation of the prophetic annointing bc my grandmother was going to move powerfully in this gift. She began to say the very thing that Brian (Slow Burn’s Prophet) spoke over her the other night. Then she turns her toward me and said “The Holy Spirit told me that you have a word for your grandaughter” and began to instruct her in faith to prophecy. SHE DID and it was a powerful word straight from God! After we said good bye to them my grandmother ran inside and jumped around the house yelling “I’M HEALED I’M HEALED!!!!!!!”  YEAH JESUS!

There’s more but hard to put the entire experience in words bc it was literally HEAVEN on EARTH!

So after my grandma God healed I was so fired up that while on my way to class I pulled off the Wedgewood exit where a homeless man was begging for money. He was crouched over, grimacing, and grasping his back in pain. I rolled down my window and asked him if he was hurting. He said he had a lot of back pain. I told him the Lord would heal him. I laid hands on him and prayed and he was 100% completely healed and said he had ZERO pain.The Lord gave me words to speak over him and I lead him in a prayer of repentance. He began speak in toungues and said “Who are you?! Who are you?! I ain’t never heard no body talk like you do! Are you a preacher?!” I told him that it was the love that JESUS had for him that healed him and that it was free. HALLELUJAH c’mon Jesus!!!!!!!!! The Lord is moving mightily and rockin’ my world!

I was just out to eat, and thought I was supposed to buy someone’s meal for them. I looked around the room, picked out a couple at a table, and asked the server for their check. I asked God for a word for them, and He said that their marriage was significant. I noticed that the man was not wearing a ring and could not see the woman’s hand, so I figured I got the word wrong. God then told me to tell them to let go of the disappointments of the past, and place their faith in the hope of the future.
The server told them that I had paid for their meal, so they dropped by to thank me. I told them that God told me to, and I shared the second word that God gave me. The man replied that they both had disappointments in their past that they’re letting go of, and they’re looking forward to their future as they will be getting married in a few weeks.
Haha. I should have listened more closely the first time, but God was good enough to still bless them with the word of knowledge, and it blessed me too!

About a month ago our 10-year-old daughter was set free from the spirit of fear & anxiety!  The enemy was constantly in her head at night speaking words of fear over dying.  One night while worshiping at Slow Burn God told me to bring her in for prayer.  He directed me to a person who had actually suffered from the same spirit of fear as a child.  The prayer team began to speak words of encouragement & prophesy over our daughter and explained to her that God has an assignment for her…saying she carries the spirit of healing and that’s why the enemy has been attacking her in this area at such a young age!!  That night she felt the spirit of the Lord upon her & we declared that she IS set free from the spirit of fear!  She has not had any issues with fear or anxiety since and she’s sleeping great!!  God is so good!  I know one day she will use all she has gone through as a testimony for Jesus!!

So today I was at panera and I was listening to a Bill Johnson podcast. I was asking the Lord for a fresh baptism of fire and I immediately felt the weight presence of God come into panera! I thought “Here Lord?!!” hahaha… I went into the rest room and not even seeing the woman in the stall next to me I heard the Holy Spirit say “back pain.” As I was washing my hands I got nervous and didn’t say anything to the woman God had highlighted to me. I went back to my chair and felt convicted and asked the Lord that if he really wanted me to minister to the woman from the bathroom that she would come and sit by me. Well.. SHE DID. So, I began to ask the Lord what he wanted to say to her. He told me that she has pain in her physical body that is tied with some kind of hurt with her father (he wasn’t there for her/abandoned her growing up). WELL of course I wanted more confirmation so I texted Brittney and said “what is the Lord telling you about someone I’m about to pray for”. She said the EXACT same thing the Lord told me. I saw that the girl that God wanted to encounter sketching, so I casually started a conversation about her artwork. Then I told her everything that the Lord spoke to me. She reached across the coffee table and grabbed hold of my had and began to cry as she confirmed that everything the Lord told me was true. I began to pray for her and she continued to weep. I felt the Lord say that she needed to say aloud that she forgives her father and that the out of that would come the physical healing (she had multiple sclerosis that resulted in back pain originating from her legs). She said a prayer of forgiveness and said that she started to feel tingling and warmth throughout her legs. She said that the aching in her body stopped!! HALLELUJAH. Then I felt the Lord tell me that she is writing a book about him and several other things about her life. She weeped even more because she is in the process of writing a book about GOD!!!!! She sat back in amazement and grabbed my arm and said “You are an angel sent by God!” I said no I’m human I promise and began to tell her how God wants to move through her just like he moved through me and every believer in the bible. She was soooooo excited and explained that God came to her at the PERFECT time in her life. She just moved here (by the calling of the Lord) and has no car and no friends. We exchanged numbers, and she left panera healed and delivered and encouraged by her GOOD Daddy in heaven!!!!!! She also gave me the drawing that she was working on (the drawing is of a woman with wings and long flowing hair carrying flowers) Haha! Praise God!!!!!!!!

This past spring/summer, my sister, Shellie, had a tumor that required surgery. The process was terrible, and pretty much everything that could go wrong did. Even beyond the normal misery of surgery, the internal bleeding did not stop appropriately which required them to reopen her to correct the original surgery, and keep her in the hospital longer than expected. Being physically weak while confined to a place of death and illness took such an emotional and spiritual toll on her that when I finally picked her up and we drove out of the parking lot, she poured tears in relief. After all this, she went back for her check up only to find that the tumor had returned, and that she’d yet again have to undergo surgery. She had come to grips with this, and had a meeting with the doctor today to schedule the surgery.

During this time, we have been praying for her healing. To the surprise of both my sister and the doctor, the tumor has shrunk! Surgery is off the table. Praise Jesus for His miracle!
The doctor said that it could stay this size, and never give her a problem, or it could grow again and require surgery. We thank him for his care of my sister and honor his professional assessment that I’m sure is very accurate when only the understanding of medical science is taken into account. However, I’m asking you to continue to press into the Kingdom of God with me, and declare that the trend that God has started in my sister’s body will come to completion, and that the tumor will completely disappear from her body for her health, well-being, revelation and also for the glory of God!

Please join me in thanking God for all that He has done for my sister, the doctor, me and everyone else who this miracle has touched.

Hello friend! Gods been doing some pretty amazing stuff lately wanted to share with you!!  A few testimonies from a few different days lately :)

When we did that 48 hr fast and prayer time I asked the Lord what He wanted me to pray with Him and He said to pray for Robins womb… I was thinking what? But I did it and I told anne about it at the time and I almost cried when I heard that she was pregnant!!!  God is soooooo good!!

I was at a wedding shower the other day and God pointed out this lady to me and said that He was going to give her divine strategies for where He has called her to go. So I go up and tell her and she just sat there for a min with her mouth wide open. Then she told me she was a missionary and God was sending her to Thailand the next day and most of the places He had told her to go women weren’t allowed to go because they are very dangerous. I got to pray with her and it was awesome! God rocked both of us!

Today as I was praying God told me that He wanted to heal someones finger. I haven’t seen that person yet, but I’ve asked a few nurses at the hospital nanny is at how their fingers were and they were fine but I got to pray with them about other things!!

I’ve been having freaking amazing times with God having crazy awesome visions and dreams and He has just been speaking so many things to my heart! I’m so full yet i can’t get enough!! So excited bout being a part of what He is doing and being closer to Him!!!  Anticipation is building for what’s coming next!

December 2010-In Progress

This morning (Sunday, December 3, 2010), God spoke to me and told me that I was supposed to pray for a certain woman concerning breakthrough in the area of business, finances or favor of man. I did not know any of those things to be actual needs of hers, but I was going to call and ask anyway.

When I called, I told her what God has spoken to me, and asked if that was something she needed right now. She said “ARE YOU KIDDING ME? You will not believe what happened this week.” As it turns out, it just so happened that she was AT WORK that very moment on a SUNDAY because her boss called her in on her day off.

She explained to me in great detail all of the things that have recently gone wrong at her work: promised compensation has not been paid, lack of recognition, and overt disrespect by her boss. At this point, some light tears began to come.

We began to pray, and thank God as Jehovah Jirah our provider, and to thank the Holy Spirit for being our shepherd and arranging this situation for us to call the Kingdom of Heaven onto earth. We called His Kingdom into this situation in the name of Jesus. I also thanked the Holy Spirit as the comforter, and asked for healing in the areas that were hurt by the disrespect. At this point, the light tears turned into weeping, and deep healing, and I began crying as well because the of the incredible depth of what the Holy Spirit was doing. It was good.

Faith was everywhere.

After the prayer, she said that this was the most hopeful that she has felt in a very long time, and that this was the most powerful move of God that she has felt in a very long time. She just went on and on saying “Thank you, God. Thank you, God. Thank you, God…”

His Kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven…

Caleb, One night in July I left you a voicemail to pray for me because I was very sick.My head hurt so bad that I was nauseated and dizzy.By the time you returned my call an hour later I was laying on the couch.I couldn’t even get up to make dinner for  and .I was delirious,I thought I was dying.

When you asked me if you could pray for me,I started crying(why does that always happen,lol?)You said that you were going to pray for me the way the Holy Spirit was leading you.You said that I was not sick,just a little overwhelmed by the hurt of the past few months. Instead of praying for healing for my sickness,you prayed for peace,and healing for my heart and mind. You went on and on speaking good,kind,loving words over me,speaking in authority and power.It was like warm water flowing from the top of my head all the way down to my feet.I was crying from relief. God’s love poured over me.It was like a storm in the desert.
My headache,dizziness,nausea and confusion were completely gone! I turned on music and sang my love to Him while I made dinner for my kids.I kept laughing,I was so thankful. When  and heard me singing their hearts were filled up.We all laughed and sang and danced around the kitchen.It was contagious healing! Even more than my physical healing,I was so relieved to see that God cares for me.He can and will help me.I see that He has plans to prosper me and not to harm me,plans to give me a hope and a future.

Below is a testimony from a text message conversation. The conversation is the back and forth between me and the other person (starting with me).

CONVERSATION:
Woke up thinking about you this morning. I love you, [friend]! Hope all is well in your world.

Wow…. Thank you. … Youl never guess what’s going on right now, so for u to text me was a wake up… Thanks..

I’ve found that it’s usually the voice of God when that happens. If you need someone to talk to let me know.

How do you know? I mean, lol you never text me…. How? … Why?

Two things: 1) I saw [omitted] a few times that you’re having a rough time. 2) I woke up thinking about you because that’s one of the ways God speaks to me when I’m supposed to encourage someone. Today He was thinking of you. He has designed you to be happy. It is your right as a child of the King to live a fulfilled life. I love you.

Thank u for textn [my daughter] a while back out of the blue. @ that very moment she said she was contiplating suiside & ur text snapped her out of it. Thank u & may God bless u 4 it & I cant thank God enough I Praise Him HE watched our my daughter & interveend using u. HE IS ONIMPOTENT!

About November of last year, I saw a need that the Lord kept pressing on me.  I continued to pray about it , and the Holy Spirit woke me up in the middle of the night and told me to give financially to this need.  I was completely fine with giving towards the need until He gave the dollar amount I was supposed to give on a monthly basis.  I just couldn’t figure out how to make it work on paper.  Of course I could always put groceries on the credit card…right?  Not only does that sound like bad wisdom, but Dave Ramsey would not approve.  After discussing with my wife what the Lord had spoken and the financial sacrifices we would need to make as a family, we obeyed the Lord and made the commitment to give to this need.   Exactly one week after our first gift, I was given a raise that accounted for 77% of the increase in our giving!  This raise was 5x every other raise I had received during my career!  With companies across the globe cutting salaries and letting people go, it is hard to believe.  God is that good!
